Minimum age to obtain the category: 24 years
Minimum number of driving hours under the CSDD program: 10 hours
Minimum training duration under the CSDD program: 1 weeks
To obtain category A, the following must be passed: theory and driving
To register for courses: Passport or ID card and driving license
To take exams at CSDD:
– Passport or ID card and driving license
– Medical certificate (service available at the driving school)
– First aid course certificate (service available at the driving school)
– Course completion certificate
Theory exam: 11,40 €
Driving exam: 29,85 €
Use of CSDD car during the driving exam: 14,75 €
Use of CSDD motorcycle during the driving exam: 14,27 €

What vehicles are allowed to be driven after obtaining category A?
Motorcycle — A two-wheeled motor vehicle (with or without a sidecar), whose engine displacement exceeds 50 cm³ and the maximum designed speed exceeds 45 km/h. This term also applies to snowmobiles.
A1 — Motorcycles with an engine displacement not exceeding 125 cm³, a power not exceeding 11 kW, and a power-to-weight ratio not exceeding 0.1 kW/kg, as well as tricycles with a power not exceeding 15 kW
A2 — Motorcycles with a power not exceeding 35 kW, a power-to-weight ratio not exceeding 0.2 kW/kg, and which are not derived from vehicles with more than double the power
A — Motorcycles, and such tricycles, whose power exceeds 15 kW
